HF1 – Bootle to Holy Family High School
Service HF1 operates from Bootle to Holy Family High school on all school days.
The service operates via the following route;
AM Service : From Fernhill Road ( Opposite Middlesex Road) then Oxford Road, Southport Road, Bailey Drive, Netherton Way, Church Road, Hawthorne Road, Sefton Road, Gorsey Lane, Edge Lane to Virgin’s Lane (Holy Family High School bus layover bay)
PM Service : From Holy Family High School (bus layover bay) Brook Rd, Ince Rd, Quarry Road, Edge Lane, Gorsey Road, Sefton Road, Hawthorne Road, Church Road, Netherton Way, Bailey Drive, Southport Road, Aintree Road, Fernhill Road, Oxford Road, Southport Road to Southport Road/Aintree Road ( the bus stop near St Monica’s Junior School)
The cost per journey is £1.00 with a 50% subsidy for those pupils eligible for free school meals. The fare can be paid monthly, half termly or termly by cheque of direct debit to the school bank account as follows (for 2011/2012 accedemic year)
Deposit: £20.00 – to be paid by the 15/07/11
Followed by either;
10 monthly payments of £36.00 – September2011 – June 2012
6.5 termly payments of £60.00 – September, November 2011, January, March, May, July 2012)
3 termly payments of £120.00 – September 2011, January & April 2012.

The HF1 service will operate the following bus Travel Code of Conduct agreeement.
The School will:
- Provide daily return transport
- Ensure the bus arrives on time
- Collect payments on a weekly/monthly termly basis
- Provide pases for all pupils travelling on the bus
- Monitor behaviour
- Address any difficulties occuring on the bus
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are in place
The Parent/Carer will:
- Ensure your child leaves on time to arrive at the bus stop before the bus is due to arrive
- Ensure payements are made on a timely basis
- Address any behaviour issues or concerns raised by the school
- Contact the school if your child is going to be absent
The Pupil will:
- Behave in a safe appropriate manner at all times
- Arrive at the bus stop on time
- Produce your bus pass to the driver on a daily basis
- Report any incidents to the bus driver or school
Cancellation:
The period of notice for cancellation will be one month to enable the school to fill the place on the bus.
Please note that the school cannot offer refunds for pupils who are absent.
Agreement:
All parties agree to abide by the contract, working together to provide safe and secure transport for the journy to and from Holy Family Catholic High School.
